Hey, its Wednesday, which means it’s time for us to catch up on all of the week’s cycling news that you haven’t been reading about on Cycle Twin Cities.
Many people associate Minneapolis with bikes, movie world premiers, not so much. This Thursday the makers of Ride the Divide are premiering their new film Reveal The Path at the Riverview Theater. There hasn’t been this much excitement since the cast of the Mighty Ducks were in town! Check out the full post here.
Bike 4 Alzheimer’s is a group of nine college kids making their way from International Falls to Key West Florida. Right now they are trying to avoid bad weather and get out of the state of Minnesota (the Hail storm on Tuesday didn’t help). Check out their website to donate and track their progress.
Nice Ride is continuing to spread across the Twin Cities in their march for world domination. More of St. Paul is now being covered, and it looks like by the time the light rail is complete, you will be able to get some Nice Ride pretty much anywhere along the route.
Search and State is a local bicycle clothing manufacturer, and while some of us have known about them for a while, they are starting to get some national press for their designs. If you had to pick something to describe their style, we would go with the word understated.
Speaking of national press, the Minnesota High School Cycling League has popped up on the radar of Cycling News. We feel like within the next decade or so you might start to see some pretty elite national racers coming out of the Twin Cities area.
Two weeks ago the fellas (and ladies) of Surly Bikes took a little vacation for some team building activities. Lucky for us they put all of their shenanigans up on the web for everyone to enjoy. Cuyuna was the destination, and those fat bike tires sure do look nice with a little red dust on them.
As always we wrap it up with a video. In order to celebrate our national status as a world premiere movie destination, here is one more peak at the trailer.
