Weekend Cycling Events

This is going to be a busy weekend for cycling enthusiasts around the Twin Cities, get out and enjoy yourself.

National Bike to Work Day: While we in the Twin Cities march to our own drummer for the “official” bike to work day, nothing says that you can’t celebrate with the rest of the country.  By the time this gets published, you will have missed out on your morning ride, but maybe this is the perfect time to grab a Nice Ride home!

MBMA Summer Series Kick-off Party and Sprint Race: From the folks who bring you the Stupor Bowl.  A party to announce summertime alleycats Midnight Kitsune Cycles:

The MBMA is holding a party and sprint competition to announce their Summer Series of Ally Cat Races! There will be Beer! Prizes! Live Music! And Bikes! Register early for all 7 races for a discount, or just the ones you want! Or just come out for good times!

Almanzo 100 and Royal 162:  Bikes, gravel, good-times.  Our favorite event of the year goes down in Spring Valley Saturday morning.  Hope to see you there.

Freewheel Frolic: The official start to the Minnesota Mountain Bike Series begins at Afton.  This is always a great day to come out and watch some racing.  Afton is an amazing place to be on a bike.

One on One Used Bike Sale and Swap Meet: Stop by between 12-4 to see the One on One basement cleaned out and used bikes for sale.  Also bands, tables, shenanigans and competitions are promised.  In the alley.

If you are headed to any of these events and want to give CTC a re-cap, that would be great, just contact us.
