Weekend Cycling Events

A few races in town, a few out of town, all around good times, as long as the weather holds out.

Saturday:

Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota Annual Meeting: Apparently it might slushy/snow into Saturday morning, so might as well spend it learning something, right?  The Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota Annual Meeting will take place at Quality Bicycle Products (QBP) on April 28, 2012. Members of BikeMN are encouraged to attend and friends are always welcome.

Pre-registration is preferred, but you may also sign up on the morning of the event. To register by phone, call Patty at 612-730-3730.

Doors will open for registration at 9:30 a.m. Coffee and bagels will be served. The meeting and program will take place from 10:00 to 12:00.

2012 Ken Woods Memorial Road Race: Urland Lutheran Church 6890 County 9 Boulevard, Cannon Falls, MN.  This is a 21 mile course through scenic Cannon Falls.  Registration begins at 7:30 am. There is a lot of information about the various heats, and when you will be able to see (or participate in) various events.  So check out the full information here.

Sunday:

Watertower Turn Around: Fast paced racing action on the University of Minnesota St. Paul Campus.  Racing starts at 9:00 and goes until about five.  Check out the flier for more information.
