Weekend Cycling Events

A few races in town, a few out of town, all around good times, as long as the weather holds out.

Saturday:

Omnium Bike Shop’s Backyard BBQ: Hey weekends are great for BBQ’s add to that a bicycle pub crawl?  Perfect.  Omnium Bike Shop, 10 AM to 8 PM, Free BBQ, Beer, Kool Aid, Ultegra Di2 for Test Ridin’ Debut of our new bike brand, all out in our ‘Backyard’ space, Afterwards, St. Paul Pub Crawl!

Mammoth Gravel Classic: While this technically isn’t in the “Twin Cities Area” St. Croix Falls is close.  Gravel! This ride will start out at 9:30 from the St. Croix Falls Overlook.  Full details at the link.

Sunday: 

Biking for Climate Justice and Earth Day Festival:  Minnehaha Falls Park 2 pm – 5 pm

The Ride leaves from the Earth Day Festival at 2:10 pm.

Join us for an afternoon of music, spoken word, speakers , frisbee and fun for the whole family. The Earth Day Festival will highlight pro-active solutions to our climate crisis and bring attention to struggles for environmental justice, workplace democracy, and sustainable solutions for our communities.

Bandit Cross – Minnehaha Course: Bike Jerks are at it again, this time its the technically demanding Minnehaha Course.  “Show up at 3 and get your cross on. We’ll once more be massed at the bridge run-up, cruise down the Fort Snelling bike path from the Minnehaha entrance and you’ll spot us for sure.”
