On Tuesday Minneapolis Gets Snobby

Image Via: Traffic76

On Tuesday afternoon, the city of Minneapolis will be visited by Bike Snob NYC, a legendary cycling blogger (Eben Weiss).  He is in town to promote his second book; The Enlightened Cyclist: Commuter Angst, Dangerous Drivers, and Other Obstacles on the Path to Two-Wheeled Trancendence.

If you are a fan of his work, then there is a strong possibility that you are already know about his visit.  If not, and you aren’t already busy tomorrow, then it might just be worth your time to check it out. Here is the itinerary:

4:00PM ride:

Tuesday, March 27

Midtown Bike Center by Freewheel Bike

2834 10th Avenue South

Minneapolis, MN 55407

4:30pm Talk and Book Signing

University of Minnesota Bookstore at Coffman Memorial Union

300 Washington Ave. S.E.

Minneapolis, MN 55455

It will be interesting to see what route they plan on taking to get from Freewheel to Coffman, considering that Sabo Bridge is closed.  Depending on how many people show up, it might be a loooong wait to get across Hiawatha.

If you are planning on going and want to snap some picture for CTC, let us know, as we will be working….
