Bike Report Twin Cities

Are you a Twitter user? This dropped into our inbox the other day, and it seems like a pretty good idea.

Bike Report Twin Cities is an attempt to have a crowd sourced ride report for Minneapolis and St. Paul in a highly portable manner (using Twitter).  The idea behind it is to use the hashtags #bikereportsp and #bikereportmpls along with a tweet about trail or ride conditions.

Greenway have an icy patch?  Tweet the location with #bikereportmpls and it is available for everyone to see.  Follow @bikereportTC to see these reports plus other useful tidbits.

The only way that this is going to work is if lots of folks out there are using it, so hopefully people buy in and start tweeting away on their rides.
