Two surveys are underway that are noteworthy for Twin Cities cyclists.
The first is an on-line survey regarding a handful of recent infrastructure changes and their effect on downtown transportation, including cycling. The survey is being conducted by the Minneapolis Department of Public Works and takes about 10 minutes to complete. Results are confidential and you can be enrolled for a prize drawing for completing the survey, but better still, your participation will help Minneapolis make better informed decisions going forward concerning bicycle infrastructure in our Central Business District. Find the survey here.
Additionally, Bike/Walk Twin Cities will be conducting a bicycle survey effort in South Minneapolis, and you can help them out by helping to collect survey data. Bike/Walk Twin Cities needs cyclists to act as field interviewers and will be paying $15-$20/ hr. for training and data collection. Interviewers must be available during the late afternoon, early evenings and Saturdays and have their own transportation. Training provided.
