Northeast Minneapolis art gallery, Altered Esthetics’ is getting geared up to host Bike Art VI, which will bring together the Twin Cities’ artists and cycling communities. Believe it or not, this will be the sixth year for the event, and offers a different event from ARTCRANK. While this exhibit won’t actually open until June 3rd, they are currently hosting an open call for submissions to be displayed at the show.
This event is fun and offers an opportunity to see exhibits of bike-themed photography, painting, sculpture and interactive art.

There is no fee for the submission of work. Entries can be submitted by mail, e-mail or online. Online submissions are preferred. Accepted applicants will be notified one week following the submission deadline.Performance pieces, poetry and literary works, music, films, and installation submissions will be considered. Please fill out the submission guidelines including information, and video imagery if applicable.Suites of work, series, and sculptures will be considered. Please provide images/documents of all works.Entries must be related to the exhibit theme. Unrelated works will not be considered. Submissions must be received by midnight on the date of the deadline.
