Hopefully, this weekend is the calm before the spring storm of Twin Cities cycling events. The good news is this leaves plenty of time for bike riding this weekend.
Or you could do both yourself and your local bike shop a favor and bring your bike in to get a tune up this weekend. Pretty soon the first really nice (snow free) day will hit, and you bike will have to spend a month waiting to get tuned up.
Weekend Cycling Events
Nothing that we know of. If we are missing something let us know!
Tour de Cure Kickoff Event: The Fix Bicycle Studio in Minneapolis is hosting a Kickoff event for the Tour de Cure. This is the second such event that we are aware of, and the good news seems to be that if you show up at the Fix studio with your bike between 2:00 and 5:00 and register for the Tour you get a free bike fitting.
National Sports Center Indoor Grass/Criterium Racing: Last Sunday featured a dominating performance by Brian, Midtown Freewheel mechanic, why not take him on for the title. This is your last chance, the ongoing grass racing series continues Sunday night starting at 9:00.
If you are headed to any of these events and want to give CTC a re-cap, that would be great, just contact us.
