Banjo Brothers Announce Tiny Bike Shop Concerts

Yesterday Banjo Brothers announced a Tiny Bike Shop Concert with Twin Cities singer/songwriter Brianna Lane.  The event is taking place on March 31, from 6-8 at Calhoun Cycle in Uptown.

We have to assume that Banjo Brothers snaked this idea from NPR, as they have been doing Tiny Desk Concerts for a few years. This is a great adaptation of the idea and we have to imagine that in a shop the size of Calhoun Cycle it will be a very intimate concert.  Lucky for you, they are also going to be live-streaming the event on Indieload.

With winter hanging on until the bitter end, bike shops in the area have been a little bit slow, hopefully this event will drive some traffic and become another way to get people into bike shops, ogling the new goodness that the shops have to offer. Needless to say, if you are planning on attending you had better bike over there.

I hadn’t heard of this series, but it’s a good idea and I want to try to make it out!
