Top Five CTC Posts in February

The shortest month of the year certainly went quickly for us.  The highlight had to be the 40+ degree day which gave us a chance to get out and ride without gloves and some false hope for an early spring.  As of today CTC has been running for two months.  In that time we have put up over 235 posts, all about the Twin Cities cycling scene.  We have been able to keep up so far, but we would love help from you.  Have something to say about the Twin Cities Cycling scene, let us know, and we will feature a post written by you.  Thanks for continuing to come back everyone!

Let’s take a look back at our most popular posts from the past month.

5) Recap of the One Rock Rally.

By most measures the One Rock Rally for Twin Cities cyclist Andy Thieman was a big success.  We were there and had a great time!  Check out what you missed.

4) Twin Cities Cyclist – Jimmy John’s Rider Derek Loftis

Mike Courteau sat down with Derek Loftis, winter commuter and Jimmy John’s delivery rider.  Derek has some interesting insights in to what it is like to ride through the winter as your job.

3) Twin Cities Cyclist – Meet Liesl

Liesl commutes to work throughout the winter, follow the link to get some good “stay warm” advice.

2) Meet Nikki Halverson: Pannier Maker
We caught up with local craft woman Nikki Halverson at the bike swap a few weeks ago. She makes some very nice handmade panniers and people seemed to enjoy reading about her process.

1) Live from Peace Coffee.

Well this is fitting.  We hosted the first annual Winter Bike to Work Day with help from the Peace Coffeeshop, we had lots of people show up, and plenty check in online as well. Thanks to everyone who helped us make this a successful event.  Be sure to check out our recap as well.

Well that’s it!  We look forward to see what everyone likes next month.

If you are new to CTC, you have some catching up to do.  Check out our top five posts from the month of January.
