Midtown Greenway Coalition Director Resigns

After 18 years of service, current Midtown Greenway Coalition Executive Director Tim Springer, has announced his resignation.  During Tim’s time as director an amazing amount of work has happened to the area, and the Greenway is in great shape.  He sent this note to Greenway members yesterday;

“Wow.  I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity I’ve had to work on the Greenway as part of a team with dedicated fellow staff, volunteers, elected officials, and public and private partners. Yay for the Midtown Greenway, Minnesota’s busiest bikeway!  I’m also very proud that we’ve created a new national model for community involvement with alternative transportation and city building.  I made the decision to leave so the Coalition can fly on its own and I can explore new things. “

Tim will stay in his position until June 3rd of this year, but they are currently looking for a replacement.  Applications for the position are due by March 11.  Think that you have what it takes to run the Coalition?  Check out the Job description here.

Thanks Tim for all that you have done!
